was presented by Deborah Edward of For Arts’ Sake at the
Nonprofit Resource Center Annual Conference October 5, 2011, to
Board of Directors in attendance.
Nonprofit Week, spotlighting the importance and contributions of
the regional nonprofit sector, will be an annual initiative
hosted by the Nonprofit Resource Center and featuring events for
nonprofits and the community.
2011 Nonprofit Week events included the Center’s Annual
Conference, the selection and awarding of the inaugural Jean
Runyon Community Leader Award to Stan Atkinson, a public
discussion with author Dan Pallotta and a free briefing on social
media for nonprofit arts organizations.
We express our gratitude to Wells Fargo for providing the funding
for our new website. The goal of this project has been to create
a highly accessible resource for all nonprofit organizations in
the region, providing information at the fingertips of executive
directors, staff and board members.
