***Please note special date: 3rd Tuesday this month***

What would you, your staff and your organization do if you suddenly lost a core funder?
If a key staff member left or a central program shut down?

Have you anticipated a few of those “crisis moments” and reviewed your plans and structure to see if you could respond and adapt?

Similar to “emergency preparedness” training for natural disasters, this special session will engage us in table-top scenario planning for solving issues related to the organization’s “emergency response” to funding and operational emergencies.  The session a potential fiscal and/or operational crisis scenario faced by the organization such as loss of major funder or a dramatic increase in community services with limited revenue streams. The scenario format is adapted for nonprofits, government agencies, and businesses to reflect the potential fiscal/operational threats to your organization.

Decisions made during the Critical Thinking Scenario Exercise can translate into changes to an organization’s managerial planning assumptions that can benefit the organization overall. The fiscal or operational issues of a disaster are examined, allowing decisions to be made using critical thought processes the organization needs to make in order to effectively respond.

What would you do if the unthinkable happened?
Join us for this interesting and provocative session to think about it a bit!
