Getting that Grant: The Nuts & Bolts
Ensure you have all the tools you need before starting to write your proposal
It’s time to get back to basics and pay attention to the nuts and bolts of producing a winning grant proposal. In this workshop, you’ll learn what to include and how to avoid the most common errors, so you can hone your skills and produce comprehensive, compelling, and competitive proposals. This excellent workshop is complementary to Harvey Chess’s two-day workshop and it provides an important supplement, with more technical information to help you begin submitting proposals right away.
You’ll learn how to present your proposal in a clear, concise format that responds to funders’ requirements. At the end of the workshop, you will leave knowing what needs to be in your “boilerplate toolbox” so you can create a solid foundation for your grant proposals, and be ready to respond quickly to funding opportunities while staying relatively sane! You’ll have all the tools you’ll need to guarantee that your proposals get the attention they deserve.

What prior participants had to say:
Loved this workshop! I came away with a feeling that I can do this!
I liked that it gave a great planning overview for fundraising. I really liked the focus on boilerplate development. The “case studies” for a couple of organization that were there was also very instructive.
The workshop overall was very inclusive and yet easy to comprehend.
I loved that it gave me the tools to prepare for grants long before the are even on my radar.
