Petsmart Charities
Seeks to improve the quality of life for all companion animals

The Company’s charitable arm seeks to improve the quality of life for all companion animals. Of particular interest are programs that save the lives of homeless pets and promote healthy relationships between people and pets. The Company’s Targeted Spay/Neuter Program awards grants for spay/neuter projects that focus on owned pets (cats and/or dogs) in areas where there is a critical need. Clinics may apply for start-up grants or expansion grants for high-volume spay/neuter activities in which at least 75% of the surgeries are done on public animals.

The Company’s free roaming Cat Spay/Neuter Program provides grants for spay/neuter projects that work to reduce the free-roaming cat population within a specific geographic area. Additional information including an online application can be found on the website.
