Placer County
Services for forensic clients
Placer County is inviting proposals from qualified providers to provide outclient substance use disorders treatment services and/or transitional housing/sober living environments to forensic clients within Placer County who are expected to be lower-level felony offenders – non-serious, non-violent, and non-sex-registerable or other low level offenders with felony charges identified by Probation. These persons will be those sentenced after October 1, 2011 who are now subject to local jail custody and/or community alternatives to incarceration rather than being sent to State prison or other persons identified by the Placer County Probation Department. It is expected that these outclient services will have specific evidence-based programming targeting this population.
A percentage of the population is expected to have co-occurring disorders. A small percentage of this population may also be perinatal: Perinatal outclient and Day Care Habilitative (DCH) Treatment providers may also apply.
If you are interested in receiving a copy of the Request for Proposals (RFP), please contact Placer County Health and Human Services Administration, Doreen Drake, at 530.745.3121 or by email.
A proposer’s conference will be held on January 10, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Placer County Community Development Resource Center, Linden-Madrone Room. While attendance is not mandatory, interested proposers are highly encouraged to attend.
