Microsoft Corp. announced July 27, 2011 that is has made updates to its software donation program that make it easier for nonprofit organizations to get access to affordable technology.

Microsoft works closely with the nonprofit organization TechSoup Global and its global network to operate the software donation program in 35 countries including the United States.

Flip Video Donation Program

Center for Small Business
Free managment assistance from CSUS students

Founded in 1969, the Center for Small Business (CSB) is one of the oldest and largest of its kind in the United States. The CSB offers free technical management assistance in all areas of business other than taxation, law, and loan packaging, to small for-profit and nonprofit organizations. The services are provided by juniors, seniors, and graduate students under faculty supervision. These students are assigned to work with clients of the CSB as part of their coursework in various classes offered by the College of Business Administration at Sacramento State University. Services are provided compliments of CSUS and many of the financial institutions of the local area and Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD).
