1. What is the time commitment for CEO-Link™?
CEO-Link™ is a 9 month cohort based learning program, with sessions meeting one day a month from 9 am – 4 pm. In order for you and the cohort to maximize your experience we ask you to commit to attending 80% of the classes. The first two sessions are mandatory, as they are the foundation for the year.
2. How much does the program cost?
Thanks to sponsorship by Citi, the fee for the 2008-2009 program was $1,000 for 12 sessions.
3. What is included in the fee?
The fee includes:
• 11- Full day classes designed to help you as a CEO
• 1 - Half day workshop for CEO & Board Chair
• An individual education plan developed by you with a member of our training staff.
• 2 hours of Technical Assistance in an area of your choice
• Continental Breakfast & Lunch at each session
• Participant Manual
4. How many participants are there in a cohort?
In order to provide a quality learning environment, CEO-Link™ cohorts are limited to no more than 16 participants.
5. Where are the classes held?
Classes will be held at Sierra Health Foundation or at Ronald McDonald House; the opening workshop will be held in a special location which will be sent to you upon acceptance into the program.
6. Can I bring guests?
We suggest that you do not bring guests, except for the sessions where they are specifically invited. This is your time as a CEO to have a safe, confidential group in which you can share your concerns and receive feedback.
7. Do I need to have my Board of Directors approval to attend?
Yes. It is important that your Board of Directors understands the importance of the commitment you are making to participate in CEO-Link™. By having them review the application and the commitment required by you, it will help them understand and support your commitment to the program.
8. Are there any prerequisites to the program?
There are no course prerequisites; however CEO-Link™ candidates must have been in the CEO position for a minimum of two years and have an organization budget of at least $250,000 to qualify.
