Placer Collaborative Network (PCN) brings community leaders
together to develop creative solutions for change. Change that
brings about a better quality of life for those living in Placer
County.
Values of collaboration, creativity, and service drive the work
at Placer Collaborative because we believe
TOGETHER we really are BETTER.
Over 40 members comprise the army of service providers at Placer
Collaborative Network. Through on the ground projects, leadership
development, and linking, solutions are forged for our most
pressing community issues.
Our community has been served bravely by veterans throughout
Placer County. In addition, the families of those veterans
have also served as they supported their soldier deployed to
service and/or combat, tending to home issues.
Supporting veterans returning home to our community is now the
order of the day, including mobilizing resources in the areas
employment, housing, engagement in activities, medical care and
mental health services, family support, etc.
The Placer Collaborative Network is hosting this Open Forum as a
beginning of our conversation regarding how we can collaborate to
better serve those who have served us.
Network of Care is a highly interactive, single information
place where consumers, community-based organizations and
municipal government workers all can go to easily access a wide
variety of important information. The resources in this “virtual
community” include a fast, comprehensive Service Directory.
We express our gratitude to Wells Fargo for providing the funding
for our new website. The goal of this project has been to create
a highly accessible resource for all nonprofit organizations in
the region, providing information at the fingertips of executive
directors, staff and board members.
Wells Fargo has been a partner in the project from the beginning,
helping us to leverage the website grant into a regional resource
hub, and we appreciate their dedication.
