Gail Catlin
Executive Director
Gail Catlin, Nonprofit Resource Center Executive Director, has over 25 years of executive planning, administration, communications and marketing experience in the nonprofit sector. She is master’s prepared in public administration and has completed her doctoral coursework in the area of transformational learning. Gail has served as executive staff for the Greater Sacramento Cancer Council, the Sutter Community Cancer Center, Sutter Health and the California Association of Hospitals. She also has served as adjunct faculty in the Chapman University’s Masters of Organizational Leadership program, and board member of several local nonprofit organizations.
Patti Larson
Information Services Manager
Information Services Manager for the Nonprofit Resource Center and a librarian by training, Patti has many years of experience working in the nonprofit field. She teaches the Center classes Starting a Nonprofit: What’s It Take? and Finding Grant Funders. Patti loves to help people find the information they need when she’s not filling in as the Center’s accidental techie.
Tricia Rosenbaum
Program Manager
The newest addition to the Nonprofit Resource Center, Tricia Rosenbaum, brings a wealth of experience from a more than 20-year career in operations, program management and consulting in the private sector and more than a decade of nonprofit volunteer leadership experience.
As Program Manager, she will utilize her strengths in organization development, client listening, relationship management and execution of strategic initiatives to quarterback the Center toward the program goals of Vision 2015. She holds a BA in Advertising/Marketing and an MBA, and although she was raised a Tarheel, she says her heart is now firmly planted in California.
Sarah Wenstrand
Marketing Manager
A member of the Nonprofit Resources Center team since 2010, Sarah comes with experience as both an independent contractor and volunteer with various nonprofits, including young adult cancer awareness groups, arts organizations and medical facilities.
Sarah’s work with Planet Cancer’s Medical Advocacy Initiatives allowed her to coordinate presentations at grand rounds of more than a dozen major cancer centers nationwide and create a toolkit for young adult cancer patients in their 20s and 30s to use during interaction with their healthcare providers. She was also published in the collaborative book, Planet Cancer: The Frequently Bizarre Yet Always Informative Experiences and Thoughts of Your Fellow Natives. Sarah holds a degree in Art History and continues to explore creative pursuits through writing and photography.
Leslie Whitesel
Program Coordinator
As the Program Coordinator for the Nonprofit Resource Center, Leslie brings to the job more than a decade of staff and volunteer experience in the Sacramento region’s nonprofit sector. Her past roles include event manager for the Sacramento Metro Chamber, program manager for Leadership Sacramento and Business Volunteers for the Arts, as well as grant writer for various local arts organizations. Through her work with local organizations, Leslie has developed the knowledge and skills vital to smooth, successful delivery of Center programs.
A former music major at UC Davis, Leslie currently plays string bass and serves as board president for the Roseville Community Concert Band. When not working or volunteering, she can be found building with Legos with her eight-year-old son.
