The Sacramento region is rich with opportunities for volunteers, whether you’re interested in supporting health or human service groups, the arts, education, the environment, animals or civic endeavors. Below we’ve listed a few resources you can search to identify the perfect position for you.
Hands On Sacramento
Hands on Sacramento connects individuals, families, businesses and community groups with fun one-time, hands-on volunteer opportunities or longer-term projects.
City-wide Volunteer Program
Volunteers provide assistance with animal care, gardening, tours, arts and crafts, child development, special events and much more. Some City of Sacramento departments can utilize volunteers as young as 12, while others require the volunteer to be at least 18.
