The Nonprofit Resource Center has received a generous grant from AT&T to help ten South Sacramento nonprofit organizations create or develop their websites as a way to expand organizational capacity to communicate with the community and constituencies.
The purpose of the project is to assist and fund organizations in the development of usable, editable websites, while presenting students with learning opportunities. Participating organizations will receive consulting and technical expertise from student teams supported by the highly qualified faculty of Sacramento High School.
The project will take place over the next 12 months. Based on the applications, the Sacramento High School students will select three to four organizations to work with during each of three consecutive periods as follows:
The first period will run from April – June 2011 and three organizations will be selected. (application period closed)
The second period will take place from August – October 2011 and three organizations will be selected. (application period closed)
The third period will take place from November 2011 – January 2012 and four organizations will be selected. (application period closed)

We express our gratitude to Wells Fargo for providing the funding
for our new website. The goal of this project has been to create
a highly accessible resource for all nonprofit organizations in
the region, providing information at the fingertips of executive
directors, staff and board members.
Wells Fargo has been a partner in the project from the beginning,
helping us to leverage the website grant into a regional resource
hub, and we appreciate their dedication.
