This half-day workshop and collaborative discussion will give you
hands-on strategies for developing new resources for your
nonprofit or public agency.

It’s time to get back to basics and pay attention to the nuts and bolts of producing a winning grant proposal. In this workshop, you’ll learn what to include and how to avoid the most common errors, so you can hone your skills and produce comprehensive, compelling, and competitive proposals. This excellent workshop is complementary to Harvey Chess’s two-day workshop and it provides an important supplement, with more technical information to help you begin submitting proposals right away.

This is a hands-on session for organizations that produce and
organize events on a regular basis. This session will cover
strategies for promoting your fundraising and events online,
driving attendance, and making your event social media friendly.
We will also discuss utilizing analytics to monitor progress and
optimize campaigns. Information about the individual donor “ask”
using social media will also be presented.
This three-hour workshop will prepare you to excel in your board
leadership role. The class will look at board leadership
both from the perspective of an individual board member and from
the larger view of the nonprofit board as a whole.
The following subjects will be covered from a general
perspective:
Credits will be given to participants who cancel their workshop
attendance at least two full working days prior to the workshop
or first session of a series. No credits will be issued after
that. Credits can be used toward any future workshop fee. Refunds
are given only if the Center cancels a workshop.
